Release the 3 push clips that attach the passenger footwell cover. This should be on the right side of a LHD car and left side of a RHD car.
Disconnect the electrical harness from the puddle light connector and emergency speaker connector.
Disconnect the bottom right connector and connect our Y connecting pair to the original wire and socket.
For RHD cars, you need to run the remaining wires to the right side of the car under the carpet.
Remove the middle A-pillar trim piece on the right side of your car.
Remove the push clip holding the lower A-pillar trim piece.
Now you can remove the whole lower A-pillar trim piece.
For Variant A cars, you can simply connect the 2-pin wire to the idle socket.
For Variant B cars, you need to cut the connector and connect with the 2 positap provided.
Spot the out-most connector below the C-pillar.
Find the red and white wires. They are corresponding to yellow with black and yellow wires on our speaker activation wire.
Remove the push clip holding the B-pillar on the right side of your car.
Locate the blue connector below the white connector shown in the picture. Disconnect it and connect our Y connecting pair to the original wire and socket.
Pull up the bottom C-pillar trim piece to run the wire to C-pillar.
Fold down the 2nd row seat. Pull the bolster gently from the bottom until it is loosen.
Now you can pull out the whole bolster out from the top.
Check the white connector. If there are 6 wires, that means the rear-shelf speakers are already installed on your car. If there are only 2 wires, you have to install the rear-shelf speakers yourself.
For cars with 6 wires, simply disconnect the white connector and connect our Y connecting pair to the original wire and socket.
For cars with 2 wires only, if you don't plan to install the rear-shelf speakers, you can hide the remaining wires in the C-pillar and complete the installation.
Now the system is ready to be tested. Try to adjust the balance of the speakers and see if all the speakers are working now.
Tidy up the wires and install all the trim pieces in reverse steps and the installation is completed.
