Please first check the below items are working normally before installation:
Window glasses are lifted normally
Internal and external unlocking switches
Original car functions
The locking cable shall be placed correctly. In case of serious bending of cable, unsmooth arrangement of cable will affect the effect of locking and closing door.
Pry open the clips and panels as shown in the following positions.
Remove the small reflector at the indicated position.
Remove the 4 panel fixing screws as shown in the following positions.
Take off the door panel.
Remove all 8mm bolts on the plastic cover plate.
Remove the plastic trim as shown. Push the wire grommet inward when you are removing the panel.
Remove the two screws and connector of the original door lock. Take out the door lock afterwards.
Use needle-nose pliers to bend down the small reinforcing rib on the right side of the original lock installation position, as shown in the following pictures.
Tighten the new electric lock in place with the provided screws.
Remove the original lock latch screws and latch.
Fix the new lock latch (with the beveled edge facing inward) using the original screws.
Connect the plug of the new motorized lock with the original car terminal and secure it with cable ties to prevent noise. Install the inner plastic trim and tighten all screws.
Run the inner pull wire of the new electric lock through the inner partition and seal the gap with the provided waterproof grommet.
Restore and test the function of the front doors. If there is unevenness, adjust the door lock latch position.
Lower the rear seats. Pry open the side surround. Remove all side panels and the side lock cover to access the rear door lock.
Remove the original rear door lock and install our new motorized door lock with the provided screws.
Connect the plug of the new motorized lock with the original car terminal and secure it with cable ties to prevent noise.
Remove the original lock latch screws and latch. Fix the new lock latch using the original screws.
Run the inner pull wire of the new motorized door lock through the original plastic cover, cutting a small hole if necessary to avoid interference.
Ensure the emergency pull wire is hidden behind the side surround.
Confirm that the lock function and door state are correct. Test for any interference during window operation.
If everything works properly, secure all harnesses and pull wires with cable ties and restore the trim.
After powering on for the first time, close the door to the half-lock state and allow the car to match data for 1 minute without any operation. Normal operation can resume after this period.
