Precaution

  1. Before installation, to ensure operational safety, disassembling the negative battery terminal may prevent the windows from moving. However, high-end vehicles may require electrical activation after battery disassembly and previous settings may be lost, so do not remove the battery. Please first verify that all parts are complete and wrap any easily damaged or scratched parts in bubble wrap.

  2. For safety and to ensure the product works correctly, have it installed by professional staff. Do not disassemble the device yourself to avoid unnecessary damage.

  3. Check whether the buttons on the door, window movement, original door lock opening, closing, and locking functions are normal.

  4. Before installation, staff should remove all metal or other hard objects from their person and place them outside the vehicle to prevent damage to the car seats, interior, and doors during operation.

  5. Many parts are disassembled during the installation process, so carefully store the removed parts to ensure that subsequent restoration work can proceed smoothly.

  6. Follow the installation process for wiring to avoid affecting the vehicle's moving parts. All wire harnesses need to be secured after the wiring is done to prevent loosening and vibrational noise.

  7. Do not unplug any connectors while the power is on after connection to avoid damaging the main unit or the vehicle's fuses, causing other damage or abnormalities.

  8. Before and after disassembling all parts, please confirm whether the adhesive nails and buckles are intact. If damaged, they must be replaced to avoid abnormal noise while driving.

  9. Be careful with screws in tight operating spaces. If a screw falls inside the vehicle, make sure to retrieve it, or the vehicle may make abnormal noise when moving.

Installation

Step 1 - Front Doors Disassembly

Unscrew the fixation screws from the lower part of the inner door panel next to the armrest.

Use a pry tool to loosen the clip fasteners along the edge of the inner door panel.

Remove the rubber covers from the screws fixing the window regulator on both sides. Use the window control switch to lower the window to a suitable position (Note: Adjust so that the screw can be reached from the window regulator's screw hole).

Disconnect the control switch cable connector and remove the door panel.

Use a cross screwdriver to loosen the fixing screws on the window regulator. Note: the screws need to be loosened for about 2-3 turns, there's no need to remove them completely.

Push the door window up to the closed position and secure the window with electrical tape, preventing it from falling and getting damaged.

Remove the fixing screws around the waterproof soundproofing panel and take off the panel.

Step 2 - Front Doors Installation

Disconnect the central control signal cable connector from the original lock.

Remove the fixing screws from the original lock.

Uncover the decoration cover of the emergency key core fixing screw, and use a cross screwdriver to loosen the fixing screw of the emergency key core.

Take out the emergency key core.

Remove the exterior door handle and loosen the handle bracket fixing screws.

Take out the original lock and the entire external door handle bracket, and disassemble the inner door handle pull cable.

Separate the original lock from the external door handle bracket.

Disassemble the emergency key linkage rod.

Disassemble the outer door handle pull cable.

Assemble the soft close lock head with the original external door handle bracket. Note: The emergency key linkage rod needs to be installed at the same time.

Reinstall the inner door handle pull cable.

Use a 23mm hole opener to drill 3 installation holes for anti-vibration rubber pads at the small round locating point. Hole opening operation: Remove the hole-opening template sticker provided, use the hole at the top left corner as a reference and stick it along the surrounding rhombic edge, then drill a hole at the center point of the small round hole mark on the template.

Use a 23mm hole opener to drill a hole here for the suction motor pull cable.

Pass the self-priming motor pull cable through this hole.

Attach the motor pull cable to the suction hook on the lock head and at the same time install the pull cable into the fixed slot.

Install the assembled suction lock at the corresponding position on the car door and screw on the fixing screws.

Tighten the handle bracket fixing screws and reinstall the external door handle.

Install the emergency key cylinder and tighten the fixing screws.

Check the ground pin order of the original car lock control wiring harness. The brown and yellow is the door switch signal - ground wire, correct as shown in the picture, with the brown and yellow ground wire being on the right and bottom first position. Note during installation: If you find that the original car signal ground wire is opposite to the switch signal wire, please ask the installation technician to adjust it to the correct position as shown in the picture.

Install the motor vibration isolation pad, and fix the self-priming motor to the vibration isolation pad installation slot as shown in the picture (pay attention to the direction of the motor installation).

Use wire cutters to cut a wire pass-through port in the rubber sleeve of the wiring harness, and pass the power signal wire through the opening as shown in the picture.

Install the suction pull cable buckle at the corresponding position of the lock head, straighten the power signal wire harness and the original car control signal wire harness, and plug it into the corresponding position on the lock head.

Install the sound insulation board in place. Clamp the yellow wire in the T-shaped power take-off wire harness with the fuse box on the original car ECU's red +12V constant electricity, and the black wire on the brown -GND (ground) wire. Note: The power clamp must be clamped in place, and a multimeter should be used to measure whether there is a normal 12V output.

Connect the positive and negative power connectors tightly, straighten the wiring harness and use cable ties to secure the wiring harness. Test the suction function of the suction lock: if you use a tool to press the lock tongue to the first lock, check whether the suction function is normally attracted, and whether the remote control lock is normal.

Step 3 - Front Doors Reassembly

Reinstall the central control door lock reminder link.

Screw in the surrounding fixing screws of the soundproof and waterproof board.

Tear off the adhesive paper fixing the glass, push the car door glass into the fixed position of the glass lifter along the car door slide rail, and tighten the two fixing screws.

Connect the inner door control button plug, reinstall the inner door trim panel, and lock the inner door trim panel screws. Installation is complete.

Step 4 - Rear Doors Disassembly

Remove the two fixing screws at the bottom of the left rear door armrest inner door trim panel.

Use a pry bar to pry open the fixing buckles of the inner door trim panel along the edge of the trim panel.

Remove the rubber cover of the middle glass lifter fixing screw, press the glass lift switch button to lower the glass to the appropriate position (Note: Adjust it so that you can unscrew the screw from the window lifter fixing screw hole).

Use a plum screwdriver to loosen the fixing screws on the glass lifter, about 2-3 turns of loosening, no need to remove the whole, push the car door glass up to the closed state, use electrical tape to stick the glass and tighten it to prevent the glass from falling and damage.

Remove the fixing screws around the waterproof and soundproof board and take off the soundproof board.

Step 5 - Rear Doors Installation

Dismantle the outer handle and the original car lock head (Note: The steps to dismantle the outer handle and the original car lock head are the same as the steps to dismantle the left front door, please refer to them).

Disassemble and separate the original car mechanical lock head and the door handle bracket, and assemble the soft close lock head and the door handle bracket properly; (Note: The steps of disassembling, separating and assembling are the same as the operation steps of the front door)

Use a 23mm hole opener to make 3 anti-vibration rubber pad installation holes at the small round positioning point. Hole opening operation: Take out the hole opening model sticker, align the left curve boundary as the base, and stick the sticker round holes respectively on the panel round hole: make a hole on the small round mark of the model paper.

Install the assembled soft close lock head to the corresponding position of the left rear door and lock the fixing screws; (Note: The installation steps are the same as the operation process of installing the left front door)

Install the motor vibration isolation pad, and fix the self-priming motor to the vibration isolation pad installation slot as shown in the picture (Note: The soft close motor is installed inside the soundproof panel, pay attention to the direction of the motor installation)

Clamp the yellow wire in the T-shaped power take-off wire harness with the fuse box on the original car ECU's red +12V constant electricity, and the black wire on the brown -GND (ground) wire; Note: The power clamp must be clamped in place, and a multimeter should be used to measure whether there is a normal 12V output.

Step 6 - Rear Doors Reassembly

Straighten the wire harness and use cable ties to secure the wire harness, and test the suction function of the suction lock: if you use a tool to press the lock tongue to the first lock, check whether the suction function is normally attracted, and whether the remote control lock is normal; tighten the soundproof panel screw fixing screws.

After the soft close door is installed and powered on, use a screwdriver to move the lock core to the half-lock position and test whether the soft closing door is normally attracted. After unlocking by pulling the outer handle, repeat several times to confirm whether the soft closing door is normally attracted, and confirm whether the unlocking of the inner and outer handles, central control, and child lock is normal. After verifying that the functions are normal and confirming that all parts are installed in place and working normally, restore the trim panel.

Install the inner door decoration panel, lock the two fixing screws, and the installation is complete.

Troubleshooting

If there is a problem with the soft closing door, you can follow the troubleshooting methods listed below.

The soft closing feature does not work:

  1. Check whether all connectors are well connected, check the motor box harness, if necessary, re-plug it;

  2. Remove the suction lock from the door panel, continue to power the power line, and place the cable smoothly. Use a stick tool to pull the lock tongue to the half-lock position, simulate the closing action, and check whether the motor box can drive the lock tongue to perform the suction action. If the suction is normal at this time, consider that the cross-installation is not in place, and adjust the cross-installation (refer to the installation instructions).

The soft closing door is not sensitive:

  1. Check whether there is winding and excessive bending of the cable between the motor box and the lock head. Generally, the cable head on the lock head and the head of the motor box are most likely to bend and need special attention;

  2. If there is no such phenomenon in the pull rope, try to remove the motor box, put the pull rope smoothly, use a stick tool, move the lock tongue to the half-lock position, simulate the closing action, and check whether the motor box can drive the lock tongue to perform the suction action. If the suction is normal at this time, consider that the installation is not in place, and adjust the installation (refer to the installation instructions).

Door cannot be opened:

  1. Disconnect the power fuse or the power harness of the single door with a fault for 3-5 minutes, and then power it up to restore it to normal operation;

  2. Check whether the pull rope of the inner and outer door handles is not well installed causing it to loosen;

  3. When the rear door inner door handle cannot open the door, focus on checking whether the child lock switch on the door panel is turned on;

  4. Focus on checking whether the installation of the lock tongue mechanism and the original car lock mechanism is in place, and whether the lock tongue positioning is not installed in place.

Door cannot be closed:

  1. Check if the lock tongue is jammed, try to use the door handle to unlock the lock tongue;

  2. Remove the lock head and motor box from the door panel, place the pull rope smoothly, and try whether the lock tongue can unlock smoothly.
