This is the installation guide for Tesla Model 3 (2024+) Gear and Turn Signal Stalk from EVOffer.

## Installation

### Step 1 - Remove the Steering Wheel

Insert a small flathead screwdriver into the 2 holes behind the steering wheel to pop out the airbag.

Disconnect the yellow and red connectors.&#x20;

Remove the center screw with a T-45 screw driver with long wrench.

Take a picture of the center screw position. You can refer to this picture when you put the steering wheel back later. Remove the steering wheel afterwards.

### Step 2 - Remove the Steering Column Covers

Pull the top cover outward to release the cover.

Remove the 2 T-20 screws and take out the bottom cover.

### Step 3 - Install the Gear and Turn Signal Stalk

Slide the gear stalk / turn signal stalk into the bracket. Tighten the screw on the right bracket to secure the stalk.

### Step 4 - Install the Gear Stalk Bracket

Install the 2 brackets with stalks on the steering column. Use the 2 retainers to connect both brackets at the top and bottom.

### Step 5 - Wire Connection

Remove the A pillar kick panel on the right side (no matter you have a LHD or RHD car).

Connect the CAN connector and power connector respectively.

Run the wire up to the steering wheel column and connect to the stalks.

### Step 6 - Install the Covers

Slide in the bottom cover.&#x20;

Align the lower holes and secure the cover by Phillips screws.

Install the top cover.

### Step 7 - Finishing Up

Test the functionality of the gear and turn signal stalk. If everythings work properly, put the steering wheel and the airbag back to their original position.
