We are offering pre-assembled seats for Model S/X 2020. However, the seat is partially pre-assembled on Model S/X 2021+.

## Step 1: Remove the Original Seat

Before beginning, ensure the vehicle is powered off.

**Important Note for Passenger Side Installation**

Unlike the driver's side, the Passenger Side Seat Base for 2021+ models is not pre-assembled. This is intentional to allow for the transfer of factory sensors.

#### 1. Weight Sensor (Occupant Classification System)&#x20;

The weight sensor is located between the foam and the leather of the original seat. Because this sensor is calibrated to the vehicle, it must be transferred to the new seat base.

* Separate the original leather from the foam to access the sensor.
* Transfer the sensor sheet to the new foam.

#### 2. Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) Module

The Refresh seats contain an ANC module embedded inside the foam of the backrest.

* Extract the ANC module from the original foam.
* Relocate and secure the module directly onto the metal seat frame using double-sided tape or adhesive.
